The leaf actually sparkles, not just 'red'

The pendant is a little maple leaf made of faceted red stones, not a painted charm. The three bigger stones are the lobes, with tiny rounds tucked at the base. On a cream sweater it looks like fall without being a costume.

Dainty chain, loud color, somehow both work

I was worried the red would overwhelm the thin gold chain. It doesn't. The leaf is small, the stones are the deep ruby-garnet kind of red, and it sits right at the base of my throat. Wore it out the same night it arrived.

July birthday gift that didn't feel generic

Ruby-ish without being a solitaire on a thick setting. She doesn't wear much jewelry and this was the one she didn't take off. The prongs are tiny — you don't see hardware, just the leaf.

Stones are glass-bright, chain is very fine

The red is richer than I expected from the photo. The chain is delicate, which I wanted, but I'm careful taking sweaters off. A slightly thicker chain would make me less nervous. The leaf itself is the reason it's staying.

Looks like jewelry, not a leaf sticker

Maple-leaf jewelry can go souvenir real fast. This one is stones set into a gold leaf shape, so it reads as a pendant first. Facets throw little flashes when I walk past a window. Length is good over a crewneck.

Wore it with black and it still showed

Deep red on black usually disappears. The gold outline of the leaf keeps it visible. I've been pairing it with a gold hoop and nothing else. Feels more grown than the price.

Better than the red pendant I returned last month

The other one was a round stone on a stiff bail. This has a shape. The marquise-cut lobes make it look designed, not picked from a tray. Clasp is easy. No tarnish after a few days of continuous wear.

    Fall wedding guest, not bridal

Needed a necklace that could sit with burgundy bridesmaid energy without matching the dresses. This leaf did it. Stones caught candlelight. Chain didn't tangle in my hair, which I always worry about with pendants.

Love the pendant, clasp is on the small side

Putting it on one-handed is a project. Once it's closed I don't think about it. The red stones are consistently saturated — no weird orange ones in the mix. For $25 I did not expect the leaf to be this detailed.

Photograph doesn't show the depth of the red

Online it looks flat. In person the big stones have that wine-under-light thing going on. I wore it over a white collared shirt and it looked like I tried. I did not try. I just put the necklace on.

    Everyday red without looking Christmas

I avoid red jewelry after December. This reads more garnet/autumn than holiday. Small enough for work, specific enough that people ask. Chain is the thin cable kind, not a box chain, which I prefer.

Shipped quick, looked expensive in the box

Ordered it on a Sunday impulse. Wearing it by midweek. The leaf sits flat against my chest instead of flipping, which cheaper pendants always do. Tiny side stones along the lobes are a nice extra you don't notice until it's on.
